Mowo Group is the parent company behind Mowo Games and MowoEngine, a C++ game engine written from scratch. We designed and built the group's website: a dark shell with cream panels, a pixel mascot with a mood for every page, an engine page that reads like a spec sheet, and a contact flow that never loses a message.
A holding company is hard to explain on one page: a games studio, a game engine in development and a plan for more ventures. The site had to make that structure obvious in seconds and give the engine — the real differentiator — room to show its depth.
We kept one pink accent on a near-black shell, set everything in Manrope with JetBrains Mono for labels and specs, and let a small pixel robot carry the personality.

About
Contact
“Studios we own. Engines we write.” — one line that explains the whole group.
the engine page
Nine systems, explained the way engineers would
The engine page walks through what MowoEngine already does — one renderer across Vulkan, Direct3D 12, Direct3D 11 and Metal, real-time global illumination, virtual shadow maps, multiplayer, reflection, an editor on its own UI framework and a custom build system — each as a short, specific card rather than a list of buzzwords.

spec sheet
Specs, set in mono
The engine's spec sheet is a real table set in JetBrains Mono — language, graphics APIs, shader pipeline, platforms, editor and build — so engineers can scan it the way they read documentation.

ventures
A portfolio built to grow
Ventures are data, not pages: Mowo Games links out to its own site, MowoEngine to the engine page, and a new venture appears on the home page, the ventures page and the footer by adding one entry.
A roadmap on the home page shows where the group stands today, with the current step highlighted.

contact
A form that never loses a message
The contact form sorts requests by topic — partnership, press, engine, careers — and posts to a webhook. If the webhook is not configured it falls back to a prefilled e-mail, so a message always reaches the inbox.
Every push builds a Docker image and deploys through GitLab CI, with a health endpoint for the server to watch.

under the hood
A small site with careful plumbing
- 5
- pages, plus privacy and terms
- 1
- accent colour, tuned to pass AA on dark
- 2
- ways a message gets through: webhook or e-mail
- 1
- push to deploy, through GitLab CI
what makes it work
Four details that make it feel built, not assembled
- (1)
Reveal that never hides content
Sections fade in on scroll, but only once the page has confirmed it can show them again — without JavaScript everything is simply visible.
- (2)
Generated social cards
Open Graph and Twitter images are rendered from the brand's own components.
- (3)
An accent that passes AA
The pink stays a fill colour; small accent text uses a lighter tint that clears WCAG AA on the dark shell.
- (4)
Content in one typed file
Ventures, engine features, roadmap, team and channels live in a single typed data module.
visual language
Ink, cream and one pink
A near-black ink shell holds cream panels like sheets of paper on a desk, with a single pink for marks and actions. Manrope sets the headlines and text, JetBrains Mono the labels, specs and small print.
